Changes coming, with Leo Komarov and Michael Dal Colle returning to the lineup. “Last night we didn’t get to our game,” Barry Trotz said today when reflecting on last night’s really poor performance, the Islanders’ first loss to the Bruins this season.
The consequence, sort of: Leo Komarov and Michael Dal Colle will be in the lineup tonight. Josh Bailey and Cal Clutterbuck are “gametime” decisions.
Lineup changes could very well be as simple as switching those two for the others. Dal Colle had been steadily effective before an injury took him out for the past three weeks. This will be his first game since March 27.
Komarov returns after a two-game healthy scratch stint. He likely doesn’t return to the top line, where Travis Zajac has been the latest to squat and might very well stay a while.
Trotz said no changes on defense. Presumably they put Ilya Sorokin in for the second half of the back-to-back.
