Vancouver Canucks Place 5 Players on Waivers

2 years ago  /  NHL Trade Rumors

The Vancouver Canucks have placed Collin Delia, Noah Juulsen, John Stevens, Brady Keeper, and Guillaume Brisebois on waivers. Delia just completed a four-year stint with the Chicago Blackhawks, where he had a 9-12-5 record, .904 SV%, and 3.68 GAA. The 28-year-old will serve as the Canucks' third goalie, assuming he clears waivers, of course. There were some rumblings that he could compete for the backup role in Vancouver, but it is clear that Spencer Martin is going to have that role at the start of the season. Juulsen, a former first-round pick, has yet to cement himself as a full-time NHL defenseman. He played in eight games for the Canucks last season where he recorded two assists. As for Stevens, Keeper, and Brisebois, they were not expected to make the team and should be decent contributors to the AHL squad this season.Photo Credit: © Sergei Belski-USA TODAY Sports...
