Off-ice official injured by pane of glass as fans celebrate Bruins goal against Hurricanes

A man working in the penalty boxes at TD Garden was injured after fans knocked some glass loose while celebrating a goal by the After David Pastrnak scored to extend the Bruins’ lead to 3-1 over the late in the second period, excited fans pounding the glass knocked a pane of it onto the off-ice official, knocking him to the ground. Trainers from both teams rushed across the ice to attend to the man who was taken off on a stretcher. TNT reporter Shannon Hogan reported the man was alert as he was being stretchered off the ice. Earlier in the game, linesman Jonny Murray collided with a person clearing the ice during a commercial break....
