Nicklas Lidstrom, Red Wings defenseman: We’re on the power play and I’m on top with Hullie on my left, his one-timer side. On the other side we had Fredrik Olausson. We are passing it around and I give it to Olausson who finds Hullie right through the seam, a perfect pass, and he one-times it for a goal. When we gathered on the ice to celebrate Hullie goes, “Freddie, it only took you 30 games to figure that one out!” And then you see his grin!
Chase: Keenan told (a former Blues equipment manager) that he should run the team: “You coach them. They don’t listen to me.” So the boys scored about three or four goals, and Keenan was back behind the bench. Hullie said, “What the *#$%@& are you doing back here? The skate sharpener can run this team!”
