Monsters grab point in 4-3 overtime loss to Comets

The Cleveland Monsters fell to the Utica Comets 4-3 in overtime on Wednesday evening at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. With the overtime loss, the Monsters are now 22-21-4-2 and are currently in sixth place in the AHL’s North Division standings. Following a scoreless middle frame, Payne notched a tally just 13 seconds into the third period assisted by Roman Ahcan to push the Monsters ahead.
