I think if some of the heavier forwards like Brazeau utilize their net front presence, and camp in front ala Charlie Simmer for some of those 'garbage goals' That would be a big help. Too many guys playing outer perimeter at the moment. ... Talking with Sacco yesterday, he wasn't too concerned about goal scoring. the goals will come, its keeping the puck out of the defensively that is the first priority.... I like the attitude Viel brings, I'm sure we haven't seen the last of him. Even Jay Miller was up and down originally in big games with Dave Brown and up again for Chris Nilan.
I also don't think we've seen the last of Max Jones. He was originally slotted as that fourth line energy guy before injuries and the emergence of Cole Koepke forced Sweeney's hand. but at a cool mill annually, I'm not sure they can afford to bring him back just yet, unless a trade happens to free up space....
