A Six-Year Extension For Brandon Carlo In Boston

BOSTON - Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, July 14, that the team has signed defenseman Brandon Carlo  to a six-year contract extension with an annual NHL cap hit of $4.1 million.

"The Bruins are very pleased to have extended Brandon on a long-term deal," said Sweeney. "Brandon is a player who has grown into a foundational defenseman with our team while also emerging as an important leader on and off the ice."

Carlo, 24, skated in 27 games with the Bruins in 2020-21, tallying three goals and one assist for four points while averaging 18:43 time on ice per game. The 6-foot-4, 227-pound defenseman also appeared in eight playoff games in 2021....
