Winnipeg Jets head coach Rick Bowness did not sound too optimistic about the prognosis for the team's leading scorer Kyle Connor, as it's been estimated that he'll miss six to eight weeks after the knee-on-knee collision he took on Sunday. He's leaving the Jets' road trip today and heading back to Winnipeg for more tests. The incident caused quite a bit of consternation for the Jets, as the hit by Ryan Strome, which was enough to earn a five-minute major for kneeing and a game misconduct, was not further disciplined by NHL Player Safety.
