Boston/Ottawa Trade
BOSTON - Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, March 21, that the team has acquired defenseman Josh Brown and a conditional 2022 seventh-round draft pick from the Ottawa Senators in exchange for forward Zach Senyshyn and a 2022 fifth-round draft pick.
Brown, 28, has skated in 46 games with Ottawa this season, tallying six assists while averaging 13:59 time on ice per game. The 6-foot-5, 217-pound right-shot defenseman has appeared in 165 NHL games with Ottawa and Florida, totaling four goals and 13 assists for 17 points. The London, Ontario native was originally selected by Florida in the sixth round (152nd overall) of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
Senyshyn, 24, has skated in 51 AHL games with Providence this season, recording 19 goals and 12 assists for 31 points. The. 6-foot-1, 208-pound forward has appeared in 14 career NHL games with Boston, totaling one goal and two assists for three points. The Ottawa, Ontario native was originally selected by Boston in the first round (15th overall) of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. ...
