Oettinger was 30-15-1 with a goals-against average,.914 save percentage and two shutouts in 48 games (46 starts) for the Stars last season. Although Dallas lost to the Calgary Flames in seven games in the Western Conference First Round, Oettinger held one of the highest-scoring offenses in the NHL to 13 goals, and had a 81 GAA,.954 save percentage and one shutout.
