The Winnipeg Jets and Buffalo Sabres are playing against each other for the second time in a month. The Sabres can make the case that they are the most improved team in the NHL this season with them being three points back of the Washington Capitals with three games in hand. The Jets are another team that is vastly improved this year and that is another feather in Rick Bowness’s cap in Winnipeg.
The Jets will once again be looking to contain Tage Thompson who came out of no where to be a premier scorer in the NHL. The Sabres have been reliant on him scoring like any team is reliant on a top scorer.
The Jets have new lines to mixed results, but maybe they will do better after a couple games under their belt. Nikolaj Ehlers is no playing on his off wing on the second line because of course he is. Sorry, I do not need this in my life. Logan Stanley remains in the lineup over Dylan Samberg. ...
