Report: 5 Teams Pursuing Brock Nelson, But Extension Also in the Works
Brock Nelson is amongst the top scorers in demand at the trade deadline, but is the pending UFA going to be traded? Sources say that New York Islanders GM Lou Lamoriello was still working on an extension with the 33-year-old lifelong Islander, but with a number of teams making strong pitches, insider Pierre LeBrun says it could be leaning towards a trade being more likely.Brock Nelson situation still in flux. After the Islanders' victory over the Jets on Tuesday, Nelson's post game interview sure sounded like a goodbye, but with Lamoriello, nobody can ever be sure.
