Now, the former top prospect has landed a PTO with the Penguins, and his hope is to officially earn himself a contract for the season from here.Puljujarvi had double hip surgery during the offseason and has a long road to recovery. Yet, he now is good enough for this PTO, and it will be fun to see if he lands a contract with the Pens from here.With the Penguins having a very rough stretch of play, it makes sense that they are considering their options and taking a look at Puljujarvi. In 75 games this past season with the Edmonton Oilers and Carolina Hurricanes, the 25-year-old winger had five goals, 16 points, and a minus-13 rating.photo credit: © Timothy T.
