In a recent article for Sportsnet, Ryan Dixon argued that the Carolina Hurricanes and Patrick Kane could be a great match.Kane is the NHL's top free agent at the time of this writing. He is taking his time with his decision, as he is currently recovering from offseason hip surgery and is still at least a month away from being fully healthy. However, once he is good to go, he could be a good addition for a team like Carolina.Dixon noted that the Hurricanes have been looking for an "offensive game-changer," specifically mentioning their previous interest in Erik Karlsson. Kane would have the potential to be just that for them, as he will be healthy again and everyone knows he's a star when he is.It will be interesting to see if the Hurricanes end up making a push for Kane once he is healthy.
