The Winnipeg Jets and New York Islanders are playing tonight in the Jets last game on the Eastern Seaboard this season. They previously had a road trip out east right before Christmas when there was wild weather as winter storms were starting to hit the eastern United States and Canada at that time. Things are calmer for the Jets this time around and all they have to worry about is putting together a solid 60 minutes which is something they have not been able to do lately.
The Islanders seem to be one of the more curious teams in the NHL because why is Matt Martin on the first line and since when did they become the New Jersey Devils with both Kyle Palmieri and Zach Parise on the team now.
The Jets have different forward lines again due to Cole Perfetti being out with an injury for at least the next week. Timo Meier would sure look good right now...
