Coventry Blaze made it a six-point week with their third victory in five nights as they shut out Fife Flyers 5-0. The last time these sides met in Coventry, the sides were scoreless through 65 minutes. This time, it needed over half an hour of game time before the deadlock was broken. Nathanael Halbert’s speculative shot deflected past Owen off a Flyers’ stick 22 seconds into period three to put the home side into a comfortable lead.
