– The Newfoundland Growlers nabbed their fourth straight victory against the same opposition and their sixth in a row overall in a 3-2 win over the Worcester Railers on Friday night at DCU Center. Todd Skirving made it 3-0 less than three minutes into the middle frame with a snipe over the blocker of Ken Appleby. Brent Beaudoin got Worcester on the board with under four minutes left in the 2nd as he shovelled home a rebound to cut it to 3-1 Growlers going into the third period.
