Video: Bruins' Linus Ullmark Scores Beautiful Goal

During Saturday's win against the Vancouver Canucks, Boston Bruins goaltender Linus Ullmark became the first goalie in team history to score a goal. A tendy shot to CELLY 💯 pic.twitter.com/Mt5BBOtIJa— Boston Bruins (@NHLBruins) February 26, 2023 It was an important goal, too, as the Bruins had a 2-1 lead, and the Canucks were buzzing. Yet, after Conor Garland's pass to Brock Boeser did not connect, Ullmark retrieved the puck and had enough time to go for a goal. He did just that with a floating shot, and it went directly in the middle of the net for the goal. The 2022-23 season has been a fantastic one for Ullmark. In 37 games, the 6-foot-4 netminder has a 30-4-1 record, 1.86 goals-against average (GAA), and .938 save percentage (SV%). He's well on his way to his first Vezina Trophy if he keeps this play up, and now he has a goal to help his argument even further. With Ullmark's insurance goal, the Bruins improved to a 45-8-5 record, while the Canucks are now 23-31-5. photo credit: © Anne-Marie Sorvin-USA TODAY Sports...
