Jets must build off impressive win over Lightning as they hit road
Does this represent a glimmer of hope or was it just another tease, a mirage in the midst of a serious drought? Given the up-and-down nature of the season for the Winnipeg Jets, it’s best to apply more than just a touch of caution before making bold proclamations after another measuring-stick game, no matter what the scoreboard reads. But given how few times the Jets have been able to string together consecutive victories of late, it’s probably best to proceed with caution. Connor Hellebuyck started his 48th game on Tuesday (the Jets have played 57) and allowed four or more goals for the fourth consecutive contest.
