Lightning Star Ruled Out For Game 5
Although there was some optimism that Brayden Point could return for Game 5, Tampa Bay Lightning head coach Jon Cooper confirmed that the star center will not be playing. Having Point back would have been outstanding for the Lightning, as their series with the Rangers is currently tied up. However, they will officially be continuing to move forward without the 26-year-old.In seven playoff games before his injury, Point was a bit quiet, as he recorded four points. Yet, when remembering how strong an offensive player he is, the Lightning would obviously love to have him back right now.
