Kings Longtime Forward Set To Retire
Longtime Los Angeles Kings forward Dustin Brown will be retiring at the end of the 2022 postseason.Brown put together an excellent career with the Kings. He of course is remembered most for being the captain of the team's two Stanley Cup championships. He spent all 18 years of his NHL career with the club, too, and put together some very solid stats. In 1,295 career games, he has 325 goals, 387 assists, 712 points, and 738 penalty minutes.Although Brown is deciding to hang up the skates, he still has been an effective NHLer even this season. In 63 games, he has nine goals to go along with 19 helpers. Overall, this seems like another situation where a player is choosing to retire on his own accord.Nevertheless, we will have to wait and see how the Kings do during Brown's final playoff run with the club. Congrats on an excellent career, Dustin!Photo Credit: © Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports...
