Flyers win OT after Clan tie it late

Fife Flyers recovered from conceding a late equaliser to beat Glasgow Clan 3-2 in overtime on Sunday night in Kirkcaldy. Clan had the only goal of the game through 40 minutes at the Fife Ice Arena. Glasgow’s increasing dominance of the second period eventually told with the game’s first goal. Matt Carter had a chance to round things off for the Flyers with 2:30 left to play but couldn’t beat Starrett on the 1-on-0. With Starrett pulled after an offensive zone faceoff win, Mathieu Roy saw his shot slip through Shane Owen and trickle into the net to tie things up at 58:20....
