Bruins Reveal That Brad Marchand Had Multiple Surgeries This Offseason

Brad Marchand faced the media today in Boston for the first time this summer. And what a summer it was for the Bruins' captain. He underwent not one, not two, but three separate surgeries.Brad Marchand had elbow, groin, and abdominal surgery this summer, per @_TyAnderson Marchand played through the elbow injury all of last season and sustained the other two injuries during the 2023-24 regular season. pic.twitter.com/DXhdRvNlp1— B/R Open Ice (@BR_OpenIce) September 3, 2024 Marchand played through a torn tendon in his elbow all season, while also suffering groin and abdominal injuries late in the regular season. All three required him to go under the knife this offseason.
