The Calgary Flames are in a very difficult spot as an organization. They currently have seven returning players (, Elias Lindholm, Noah Hanifin, Chris Tanev, Nikita Zadorov, Oliver Kylington, and Dennis Gilbert) entering the final year of their respective contracts.
