The Calgary Flames can’t seem to lose.

Their foes seem to be struggling to even keep it close.

Darryl Sutter’s surging squad continued a red-hot run with Wednesday’s 6-2 triumph over the Anaheim Ducks at the Saddledome.

The Flames have rolled to eight straight victories, just two shy of equalling a franchise record that was set back in the Atlanta days and matched in 2017.

“It feels good,” grinned centre Elias Lindholm, who tallied twice against the Ducks, extending his current scoring spree to six. “Obviously, when you’re winning, it’s easier to come to the rink, you have fun and everything seems easy.”

They’re making it look easy. Really easy.

The Flames have outscored their opponents by a 37-13 count during this eight-game scorch. They’ve buried five or more goals in five consecutive contests for the first time since 1992, winning each of those by a margin of at least three.
