Coyotes Veteran Forward Contemplating Playing Future

2 years ago  /  NHL Trade Rumors

According to Craig Morgan, Arizona Coyotes winger Andrew Ladd is unsure if he wants to play during the 2022-23 season. Ladd is about to enter the final year of his contract. In 51 games this past season with Arizona, he scored five goals and recorded 12 points. Although his offensive numbers have dropped off noticeably as he has gotten older, he was useful for the Coyotes due to his leadership qualities. This was evidenced by him being one of their alternate captains. Ladd is expected to make a decision about his playing future before the start of this upcoming season. If he decides this is the end and hangs up his skates, it's fair to say that he had a good career. In 1,001 career games split between the Hurricanes, Blackhawks, Jets, Islanders, and Coyotes, he has 256 goals, 294 assists, and 550 points. Photo Credit: © Sergei Belski-USA TODAY Sports...
