Mackenzie Blackwood was "nearly in tears" when he found out that the San Jose Sharks had completed a trade sending him to the Colorado Avalanche. In fact, in an interview with Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now, Blackwood, an impending UFA after the season, said he was interested in signing an extension to stay with the Sharks for the long term.For sure.
