He will now look to be a solid part of their bottom six as they look to take that next step and finally break this playoff drought. Cousins spent this past season with the Florida Panthers, where he posted seven goals, 15 points, 130 hits, and a plus-1 rating. He also appeared in 12 games for the Panthers during their Stanley Cup run, where he had an assist and a minus-1 rating.When noting that the Senators are adding Cousins for such a low cap hit, this move comes with no actual risk for the Atlantic Division club.
