The 18-year-old freshman center (6-foot-2, 195 pounds), who was born in Nobleton, Ontario, is No. 2 on NHL Central Scouting's midterm ranking of North American skaters presented by BioSteel. He has 55 points (21 goals, 34 assists) and six power-play goals in 29 games this season. He has 24 points (eight goals, 16 assists) in an 11-game point streak.
