Spitfires Double Up Rangers 8-4

The Spitfires got out to a lead and had to peer over their shoulder a few times but held on for a big 8-4 win in Kitchener Sunday evening. In the first period, the Spitfires got off to a glorious start scoring 4 unanswered goals in the first 14 minutes of the game. Renwick started the scoring with his 7th of the season on the powerplay. Just 5 minutes later, Peer would score his 10th of the season on the powerplay and give the Spits a 4-0 lead. The Rangers would change netminders and score 2 goals in the final 5 minutes of the period....
