NHL News: IIHF, World Cup Planning, Blackhawks, Buntin, Stars, LTIR, and Stadium Series The 2023 World Championships and 2023 World Juniors are scheduled to be held in Russia. 2024 World Cup of Hockey planning and player development agreements : Darren Dreger said that Bill Daly will be going over to Europe in mid-March to discuss some of the logistics for a 2024 World Cup of Hockey. or at least discuss the planning of the 2024 World Cup of Hockey with the European counterparts. The NHL, IIHF and the NHL Players’ Association are not in a position to formalize the 2024 World Cup of Hockey, but this is a pretty big step in the next direction.”...
