Avalanche announce 2024 Development Camp roster

Between the draft and free agency, Colorado announces their Development Camp roster. Between the conclusion of the 2024 NHL Draft and free agency, which begins tomorrow morning, the Colorado Avalanche announced their 2024 Development Camp roster today.

A handful of past attendees were invited again this year, such as Colby Ambrosio, Taylor Makar, Sean Behrens, and Saige Weinstein. Almost all of the newest Avs prospects who were taken in the NHL Draft this past weekend will be there. Seven out of the nine players that Colorado recently drafted will be in attendance, with goaltenders Ilya Nabokov and Ivan Yunin being the only two absent from the roster.
Notably, Matt Davis, the goaltender for the University of Denver men’s ice hockey team, will also be in attendance at Development Camp. Davis recently backstopped DU through their 2024 NCAA championship run. He also posted a shutout in DU’s championship-winning game against Boston College. Another DU player, Sean Behrens, will also be in attendance. Behrens was also on the 2024 DU championship team with Davis and signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Avalanche earlier this year.
Development Camp is set to take place this upcoming week from July 3 to July 5. It is free for the public to attend at Family Sports Center in Centennial, CO....
