- I’ve heard some say that William Nylander is having a career year. That’s nice. If being 34th in goals and 40th in assists in the NHL is a career year for an immense talent like Nylander, then isn’t that just a touch disappointing?

- When the Buffalo Sabres honoured Rick Jeanneret, just about every important Sabre in history was in attendance. Except Gil Perreault. Turns out Perreault and the Sabres owner, Terry Pegula, are not on the best of terms these days.

- What a weird and almost unexplainable season this has been for the Vegas Golden Knights. They keep adding better players and the team keeps getting worse. Something unexplainable is wrong in Vegas after everything going their way for four seasons.
