Big news for Seattle Kraken fans! According to the AHL transactions page, the team has officially called forward Jordan Eberle back from his conditioning stint with the Coachella Valley Firebirds. Seattle’s second-ever franchise captain has been sidelined since undergoing surgery to repair a pelvic injury suffered during the November 14th matchup against the Chicago Blackhawks.The injury couldn’t have come at a worse time for Eberle, who was off to a blazing start in the 2024-25 season. The Regina, Saskatchewan native had already racked up six goals and 11 points in just 17 games marking him on pace for a 53-point season—a total that would have ranked as his second-best offensive performance with the Kraken. For context, Eberle dazzled in his debut season with 21 goals and 44 points, followed by a career-high 63 points the next year. After dipping back to 44 points last season, this was supposed to be his bounce-back year.Unfortunately, the injury derailed those plans. Even if Eberle plays in all of Seattle’s remaining 25 games, he’ll max out at 42 games played this season—a career-low. But there’s still plenty to look forward to.
