A lineup boost coming for the Chicago Blackhawks, and just in time, as Taylor Hall heads to injured reserve.Philipp Kurashev, who has been out all season recovering from a wrist injury, is set to make his season debut Tuesday night.Philipp Kurashev (wrist) said he hopes to play on Tuesday against Boston. #Blackhawks— Charlie Roumeliotis (@CRoumeliotis) October 23, 2023Kurashev was injured in the Hawks’ preseason opener back on Sept. 28 and originally said he had ‘‘no clue’’ the injury would be this significant. ‘‘It’s not fun [to miss that long],’’ he told Ben Pope of the Chicago Su-Times. ‘‘It’s more hard mentally because you can’t be with the guys, especially on that long road trip for 11 days. It was pretty tough, but now I’m happy to be back.’’Kurashev will line up with Jason Dickinson and Corey Perry on the third line, but could eventually earn a spot on the second line with Lukas Reichel. They spent plenty of time together last season. The 24-year-old Kurashev was awarded a two-year, $2.25 million cap hit contract in arbitration this summer, and with that, the Hawks will hope he can bump up his production significantly from the 25 points he registered in 70 games last season.Photo: Jamie Sabau-USA TODAY Sports ...
