Earlier this week, ‘ GM made his first significant roster move as he begins to address his club’s issues surrounding the salary cap. However, Sweeney needs to shed salary, and Hall may be just the first domino to fall as the offseason progresses. Today, we look deeper at the trade and the two newly acquired defencemen. I had recently suggested the Bruins should be targeting some right defencemen at the NHL Draft, but it appears the Bruins may turn their focus to other areas with the job Sweeney has done by trading Hall.
