Ducks Rumors: Ryan Strome Standing Out As Offseason Trade Candidate
The NHL saw several players who were in the rumor mill get traded by the 2025 NHL trade deadline. However, Anaheim Ducks forward Ryan Strome is one player who did not get moved after creating chatter.Yet, with the Ducks still rebuilding, Strome is a player to keep an eye on again during the summer as a clear trade candidate. Strome should generate interest from clubs around the NHL this summer. This is because he is an impactful top-six center who works on the power play because of his playmaking ability. This, teams looking for help down the middle should be calling about the veteran forward. Strome has had another solid season with the Ducks in 2024-25. In 63 games, the 6-foot-1 forward has 10 goals and 36 points in 63 games. This is after he had back-to-back 41-point seasons with the Ducks in 2022-23 and 2023-24. Strome also has value because he has multiple years left on his contract. He signed until the completion of the 2026-27 season, where he has a $5 million cap hit. This could certainly add to his appeal from clubs looking to add more skill to their forward group. It will be fascinating to see what happens between Strome and the Ducks this summer, but he is somebody to watch after the season.photo credit: © Brian Bradshaw Sevald-Imagn Images...
