It’s a big series! For lottery seeding. The Islanders begin part two of the seven-game homestand, hoping to show a little more life than the opening loss to the Senators.
They didn’t practice yesterday, so no word yet on J-G Pageau’s status.
Tonight’s opponent, the Flyers, are three points ahead but with two more games played — both are pretenders making cute noise about a wild card push, but the Flyers have the luxury of lower expectations coming into the season.
