NCHC Announces Preseason All-Conference Team

With the men’s college hockey season just a few weeks away, the NCHC has begin their preseason awards. On Tuesday, the league announced their preseason all-league team.
Six of the league’s eight teams were represented on the seven-man squad, with last year’s national runner-up St. Cloud State the only team to place two players on the list.
Here is how the league’s media voted:
F-Veeti Miettinen, St. Cloud State
F-Noah Cates, Minnesota Duluth
F-Chayse Primeau, Omaha
D-Ronnie Attard, Western Michigan
D-Nick Perbix, St. Cloud State (tie)
D-Jake Sanderson, North Dakota(tie)
G-Ludvig Persson, Miami
The Philadelphia Flyers have two prospects on the list in Cates and Attard, who both passed on pro opportunities this offseason for an extra year. Chayse Primeau and Ludvig Persson are the only NHL free agents to make the list. ...
