Your daily dose of Avalanche news, along with other interesting storylines across the NHL. As we wait one more day before the Stanley Cup Final festivities kick off, it wasn’t a quiet week around the league. The NHL combine is ongoing as we are now three weeks away from the NHL Draft. It is a meeting point for agents and team executives in addition to the tests and interviews with the draft eligible prospects.
The Avalanche in particular might have found traction on a new deal with Jonathan Drouin during one of these meetings.

The NHL announced that their Amazon documentary will premiere in the fall. Avalanche Captain Gabe Landeskog is one of the names highlighted in the release as the program promises a real behind-the-scenes look in the life of several NHL stars.

Despite this progress Utah is still expected to go with the generic name and branding for the 2024-25 season if these registered logos are any indication. Looks like a color scheme for Yeti if you ask me.
