A big storyline over the past couple of weeks was the memorable Four Nations tournament and the incredible performances by Colorado Avalanche players, especially Nathan MacKinnon. We recorded just before the Finale and predicted a Canada win and for MacKinnon to impact the game as well.
We then turned our attention back to the Avalanche and the stretch run to their season. Health updates were discussed and the upcoming (unfortunate) back-to-back road trip.
As always, a little trade deadline talk was hashed out including the Seth Jones rumors. Jackie had an idea that if Colorado is willing to pay for significant retention on Jones then why not just make a deal for Nikita Zadorov? Big Z by the way is part of Jackie’s annual Trade Deadline Bingo Card which will drop later this afternoon.
