Flames secure second home win in five days

Guildford Flames recorded their second home victory of the weeks with a 7-3 win over Dundee Stars. A goal-fest of an opening period saw the Flames come out 4-3 ahead after 20 minutes at the Spectrum. Charlie Combs put the star ahead at 2:32 but were pulled back only 17 seconds later by Ian Watters. Combs then scored his and the Stars’ second of the night on the powerplay just before the seven-minute mark, and then Sebastian Bengtsson put them two ahead at 10:54. Levi Cable got the only goal of the middle period to give the Flames a 5-3 advantage after 40 minutes....
