The incident occurred late in the second period when Marchand and Kochetkov collided, with the former slashing the latter after the whistle blew. Kochetkov, 22, made his Stanley Cup Playoffs debut in Game 2, stopping 30 of 32 shots in the Hurricanes’ 5-2 victory on Wednesday.
