Mile High Hockey looking for more contributors

We’re looking for fresh voices to join the best Avs community! The Colorado Avalanche is a heck of a ride to be on. They’ve been through plenty of ups and downs, ending with the highest of highs last season winning the Stanley Cup.
We’ve been through a similar roller coaster ride here at Mile High Hockey. Thanks to our great community and the supportive staff we have at SBNation and Vox Media, we have the opportunity to expand our base just a little further.
With that being said, we are looking for additional contributors to join our community at MHH! Our staff are huge Avalanche fans (obviously) and are looking to contribute to the community further with great work covering Avs games, transactions, player analyses, feature stories, and more.
We are looking to add to this with those looking to get their foot in the door in sports media. Here’s what we’re looking for in anyone interested in joining our team:

Avalanche fans or hockey fans as a whole, with general knowledge about hockey.
Availability to do 1-2 pieces a week.
Creating content ranging from various game coverage pieces to various feature pieces.
Possibility of promotion, and additional involvements such as joining the MHH Lab Podcast.
No prior experience in writing/reporting/journalism is necessary but a plus.
