Five years later, on Feb. 6, 1987, Bossy became the first player in NHL history to score 30 goals in each of his first 10 seasons. On Feb. 6, 1963, the second defenseman in NHL history to score 500 career points during the Canadiens’ 6-3 loss at the Rangers.
