For the first time since their return to the NHL in the summer of 2011, the franchise finds itself in unchartered waters. Dave Lowry took over as interim head coach following Maurice’s departure, but wasn’t able to lead the Jets to the playoffs this spring. : Connor was the Jets' best player this season and it wasn’t really close, producing 47 goals and 93 points. Players in the NHL who score 29 goals and 70 points in 67 games are attractive targets if they ever become available for trade. He will likely need a full year a the AHL level first, but could see some NHL games next season....
