2 St Louis Blues Most Likely to be Traded
The St Louis Blues are off to a good start this season with a record of 9-5-2 through their first 16 games. There's Stanley Cup expectations in St Louis and the team will be looking to make some upgrades as we get closer to the trade deadline. The Blues roster is full of talent and in order to bring some good players in, you have to move some talent out.2 Blues Players Most Likely to be MovedRobert Bortuzzo: The rugged d-man is a pending free-agent and would likely be someone that's included as a piece in a deal and not someone who the sole focus is on. Bortuzzo is a good compliment to the bottom pair and brings some sandpaper to any lineup he's a part of. So far in 14 games he's recorded two points and often times would find himself not playing much when the games matter most. The Maple Leafs are one team who have called the Blues about the defenseman's availability. Ville Husso/First-Round Pick 2022: These two are paired together because the Blues will consider moving their pick for more than a rental and adding Husso to the deal could fetch them a game changer. He's a 26-year-old who is coming into his own in the NHL, however is a pending free agent. The Blues have Joel Hofer who is next in line for consideration for the starter's crease so it would make sense to capitalize on the market for Husso. The big Finnish netminder has played two games this season and holds a miniscule .50 GAA and a .984 save percentage. The Blues don't have a ton of money under the cap so any move will need to be creative and Husso could be included to sweeten the pot regarding some salary retention.Keep an eye on the Blues.
