Wallstedt stopped 13 shots and Yaroslav Askarov (22 saves) turned aside eight Iowa shots. Damien Giroux put Iowa on the board at 1:25 of the second period. The Wild added 12 shots for a two period total of 20 while the Admirals totaled 26 shots through 40 minutes.
