Devils acquire Vanecek, draft pick from Capitals for two picks

Barnes/AP) The have acquired goaltender and pick No. 46 in the 2022 NHL Draft in exchange for picks No. 37 and 70, the team announced. Vanecek, 26, is a pending restricted free agent. If the Devils re-sign Vanecek, he'll join Mackenzie Blackwood in New Jersey's crease. For the Capitals, the next two goalies on the depth chart -- Samsonov and Phoenix Copley -- are pending restricted and unrestricted free agents, respectively....
