Stars Sign Forward Prospect
The Dallas Stars have signed Matej Blumel to a two-year, entry-level contract.Blumel was originally selected by the Edmonton Oilers with the 100th overall pick of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. However, the team decided not to sign him to an ELC, and he has spent the last three seasons in the Czech Republic. With Pardubice HC this year, he scored 12 goals and recorded 12 assists in 49 games.Blumel is a player who will need more time to develop before becoming an NHL player.
